What is Contact & RFQ?
Contacting RAS Hydromesh is a direct line to the applications engineering team that specs the mesh — not a sales call center. Send your cell type, current density, KOH concentration, operating temperature, active area and target mesh count or packing density, and a named materials engineer with 15+ years of electrode fabrication experience returns a technical quote — with a Mill Test Certificate sample (EN 10204 3.1) included — within one business day, i.e. within 24 hours on working days. A free 100×100 mm sample is available for standard mesh specifications.

How to request a quote
- Step 1
Send your specification — product family, grade (Ni200/Ni201/N6), mesh count or packing density, wire diameter, quantity and certification standard.
- Step 2
Our applications team reviews the requirement and replies within one business day — within 24 hours on working days — with availability, lead time and pricing.
- Step 3
Confirm the proforma invoice; a sample Mill Test Certificate (EN 10204 3.1) is included with the quote, and a free 100×100 mm sample is available for standard mesh specifications.
- Step 4
Production, inspection and shipment proceed with the full documentation package — 100% of shipments include the lot-specific MTC.
Certification & traceability
Manufacturing is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and 100% of shipments include an EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate — OES chemistry, laser micrometer wire trace, optical mesh count and ASTM E8 tensile results — with a traceable heat number on every roll. Technical enquiries receive a substantive reply from a named materials engineer within one business day (within 24 hours on working days), and a sample MTC is included with every quote so your quality team can verify the documentation format up front.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What information should I include in a nickel mesh RFQ?
Seven items make quotes comparable: mesh count or packing density (with tolerance), wire diameter (with tolerance grade), material grade (Ni200/Ni201/N6), weave or knit type, surface finish (specify Ra for electropolished), width and cut dimensions, and the certification requirement (EN 10204 3.1 MTC). Cell type, current density, KOH concentration and operating temperature help us match the weave.
How fast will I get a response?
A named materials engineer acknowledges your enquiry the same day and returns a technical quote — availability, lead time, pricing and a sample Mill Test Certificate — within one business day, which means within 24 hours on working days.
Do you provide free samples?
Yes — a free 100×100 mm sample is available for standard mesh specifications (30-60 mesh woven, Ni200/Ni201). Non-standard mesh counts, custom wire diameters or specialty knit patterns are sampled against a quoted prototype run.
Which grade should I specify — Ni200 or Ni201?
Ni201 (0.02% C max) for anything immersed in KOH above 80°C; Ni200 (0.15% C max) is acceptable for ambient, dry connections. If you are unsure, select 'Need recommendation' in the form and the applications team will specify the grade from your operating temperature and electrolyte chemistry.
